James Head, professor of Geological Sciences at Brown University in the U.S. worked with NASA on the Apollo program in the late 1960s. He spoke to CGTN Europe’s anchor Jamie Owen to discuss China’s role in the space community and the “amazing” discovery of Moon rock samples from Chang’e 5, the first lunar mission by any nation in over 40 years.
Head describes 2022 as one of the most exciting yet in space discovery but has a warning over the growth of space debris that is polluting the Low Earth Orbit.
