The airline industry will keep “burning cash” until the-summer – but its new vaccine certificate app could be key to recovery, International Air Transport Association chief Alexandre de Juniac tells CGTN.
"We are developing an app that you will be able to download on your smartphone and in which you will be able to put your medical certification of vaccination and testing, and transfer this data to the airline or the state which is requiring such information to allow you to enter. So we think it's a key element to reopen borders."
