UK's Boris Johnson backs police chief over Sarah Everard vigil arrests

K Prime Minister, Boris Johnson says he is "deeply concerned" by images of police arresting women at a vigil to commemorate Sarah Everard, a woman who was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by a serving officer.
However, Johnson and Home Secretary Priti Patel are backing London’s police chief Cressida Dick, who has been defending her force amid allegations of heavy-handedness. The murder sparked a national debate about the need for more safety for females subjected to male violence and abuse.
