After nearly six months of conflict with Iran, the United States has shifted its strategy with new sanctions against Tehran. The Trump administration calls it “the single greatest financial offensive ever marshalled against an adversary.”
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced “Operation Economic Outcast” with sweeping new economic sanctions aimed at further isolating Iran. The measures include secondary sanctions on countries that continue to do business with Tehran. Iran’s foreign minister called it a "desperate" move. #Iran #sanctions #bessent #Tehran #war #Heat
