The United States announced a pause in military strikes to give diplomacy a chance after threatening to escalate the war. Iran says the Strait of Hormuz remains closed but says it is making progress in talks with Oman on the management of the strategic waterway.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Iran is top on his agenda for his meeting on Tuesday with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
