#RAZOR: Chang’e-5 - A new era of lunar exploration
Razor • 12m
Named after the Chinese goddess of the moon, the Chang’e-5 mission roars towards its target - the lunar surface. It’s the People's Republic of China’s first ever sample return mission, and if successful, it will be the third country to complete it. The mission seeks to collect around 2 kilograms of samples by drilling to a depth of up to two meters and scooping up lunar surface material.
The mission will help our understanding not only of the moon but other planets too.
