The U.S. coastline will see the highest sea level rise in the next 30 years, according to a recent U.S. government report. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and six other federal agencies say that sea levels will increase up to 30 centimeters (12 inches) higher by 2050. Experts say the projected scenario could have a profound impact on the nation’s infrastructure.
