Your next meal could be delivered by a robot. Uber Eats, the food division of the rideshare giant, has launched two autonomous delivery pilots that aim to deliver food without the need for human drivers.
Cutting-edge robots, remotely controlled by humans, are navigating the streets of Los Angeles to deliver food for deliveries of shorter distances.
While the executives of the project hope to expand the program to rest of California and much of the United States, others still question its reliability and efficiency.
