One of the buildings to be destroyed in a devastating tornado in the U.S. state of Kentucky was a candle factory in the town of Mayfield where more than 100 people were working at the time the tornado struck.
Nine people died, but it could have been even worse.
The devastating impacts of the tornado remain clear to see. But that horrific evening last December will also be remembered for several heroic and selfless acts.
