Inflation relief: No gas tax!

The U.S. state of California has broken another record with the highest average price of gas reaching $5.8 a gallon, about 3.7 liters.
That’s in contrast with the national average that’s fallen slightly over the past week.
In an attempt to offset the financial burden on its consumers, California has now become the first state to propose a tax excise rebate, a move that could provide direct cash relief to its residents, but many see it as a temporary solution.
