Peru assumes APEC leadership

Peru will assume the year-long rotating leadership of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, at the end of November 2023. The South American country – which will preside over the annual meeting of the 21 members next year – is looking at the presidency as a chance to boost its flagging economy. CGTN’s Dan Collyns has more from Lima.
